Vehicle charging inlets

Whether private sector, semi-public sector or public sector: Through European standardization of the charging plug (Type 2 plug) in 2014, our MENNEKES AC vehicle charging inlets are compatible with all major charging solutions and charging couplers in accordance with DIN EN 61851, DIN EN 62196-1/-2, and DIN EN 62752, throughout Europe. Our AC charging inlets offer battery-friendly, yet fast charging of the vehicle battery with up to 22 kW charging power.

MENNEKES AC charging inlets offer the IP45 protection rating and enable temperature-dependent charge control through integrated temperature detection. Adhering to a zero-defect strategy, the vehicle charging inlets are produced at our German site.

MENNEKES CCS charging inlets enable high charging power of up to 200 kW and short charging times of the electric vehicle (EV). This means that they increase charging convenience, i.e. driving convenience, for the end customer, and they also increase long-distance capability on road trips. Our MENNEKES CCS vehicle charging inlets are compatible with all major charging solutions and charging couplers in accordance with DIN EN 61851, DIN EN 62196-1/-2/-3 and ISO 15118. Silver-plated contacts guarantee a high number of connector mating cycles, low insertion and withdrawal forces as well as minimal heat generation (particularly in conjunction with MENNEKES charging solutions).

MENNEKES CCS charging inlets offer an optimized housing size, reduced installation depth, and a variety of connection and fastening possibilities. The high protection rating (IP54) and integrated temperature detection round off the characteristics and enable temperature-dependent charge control. Adhering to a zero-defect strategy, all MENNEKES vehicle charging inlets are produced at our German site.
