Our contact sleeve technology X-CONTACT for connectors and receptacles
The connectors in our PowerTOP Xtra range and our wall mounted and plate mounted receptacles in 63 A are equipped with the contact sleeve technology X-CONTACT. It ensures a safe connection between CEE plug and connector/receptacle, effortless connecting and disconnecting and reliable durability. Further connectors and receptacles are available with our conventional MENNEKES contact sleeve technology - time-tested all over the world in different industrial sectors and constantly refined. We use high-grade brass with an increased copper level in our contact sleeves for good conductibility. The sleeves are also nickel plated to prevent oxidation of the contacts. Connectors and receptacles that are equipped with these contact sleeves are well suited for environments like construction sites, chemical industries, sea harbours and agriculture.
