Plug PowerTOP Xtra R with ErgoCONTACT 13600
What is ErgoCONTACT?
ErgoCONTACT refers to a specially enhanced, innovative, easy-to-use screw-contact technology that is available for plugs and sockets. It enables easy, secure, and time-saving installation. To this end, the screwdriver is inserted from the top instead of the side to apply pressure directly against the handle. The screw is additionally guided by a collar. This prevents it from slipping and minimizes the risk of injuries. Each contact has only one screw: a captive combination head screw that is integrated in the guide collar and can be turned using either a Phillips or flathead screwdriver. More information can be found here.
What does the suffix “R” stand for following the article description of the PowerTOP Xtra series?
Our 5-pin, 16A PowerTOP Xtra plugs and sockets are available as a PowerTOP Xtra R variant. The R stands for robust, high-heat resistant contact carriers and nickel-plated plug and connector contacts. The plug and socket device is therefore especially protected against high humidity and aggressive substances.
